April 23, 2020 - I saw Garth Brooks in concert as a young and up and coming artist myself in 1993 and he made quite a lasting impression on me. His earnest delivery and ability to share with the audience is something that comes across in all his music. The Dance is a particularly great example and a very moving song. I’m sorry I didn’t take the time to learn the lyrics - really at all - but it was a spontaneous performance for a good friend's birthday who also happens to be a big Garth fan.
